1. Rocketplane

Update:  Broke and laying off. Photos from a recent news photographer's visit shows the only evidence of progress is two rusty parts of an old airplane fuselage.    Rocketplane Tail spin

We have received information from an anonymous source that Rocketplane is using out of state employees to perform the work they received tax credits, to establish jobs for Oklahomans. According to the source the Oklahoma facility is only a front:

A. Rocketplane performs most of the work in Wichita KS.

B. Rocketplane uses Wichita KS based employees who commute to or are in Oklahoma temporarily.

2. Nanjing MG plant

Based on this knee-jerk reaction Oklahoma Lawmakers approved $20 million to go toward this project. [Ref A113]

Was this gross irresponsibility in failing to verify, and off hand comment? Or, was it simply another opportunity to setup another scam?

The next big business scandal is the Nanjing MG plant that was projected to be built in Ardmore.

It is a real shame. The plant would be good for Ardmore and Ardmore would be good for the plant. But, crooks have weaseled their way in.

Why? Members of the corrupt culture are driving the states business development. Their business is enriching themselves.

Oklahoma has a predictable pattern. The same pattern that occurs with every corruption scandal. No clearer demonstrated than with both the Truck Tag Scandal and the Tax Credit Abuse.

The success rate of the new business drivers in both Oklahoma's state government and State Chamber is pitiful.

The only businesses these people have attracted are businesses we pay to come. Some with scandalous money. The others are minimum wages here today gone tomorrow sweat shop type businesses. Businesses they can scam some off the top.

Don't miss Oklahoma's next rising scandal star
